How do I print labels from my outlook active agent by category only?

From the toolbar select Create, then send document to contact.  If you get prompted to run the merge for the currently selected contact(s) answer no. 

You will then be presented with a contact selection window where you can choose your contacts based upon a number of criteria, including category.  To select a category do the following (see this image for more details: http://www.sonomaenterprises.com/images/thumbs/0000237.png):
  1. In Step 1: Select the contact folder where your contacts are by selecting it in the top drop down list.
  2. In Step 2: Select special look-up, then select Category in it the Field drop down list and then your category from the Value drop down list. Click OK.
  3. This will fill the left list with all the contacts in that category, if you want to use them all then click on the 'Move All' or '>>' button and then click Apply.
  4. You will be presented with a list of your documents next, just select the one you want to use for the merge and click OK.
  5. You will be presented with an Output Destination window next, just select printer, email or leave open and the merge will complete.
