To backup you data what you will do is:


Back up your Outlook data files.  There are several way to do this, you can manually back up the files:

  • Go to file-data file management to see what files you have attached and then close Outlook and back them up.
  • You can use a 3rd party program to back up Outlook and all the settings, one  that I use is called BackRex (http://www.backsettings.com/), it will backup your data as well as your account settings.
  • Use the Microsoft Backup Add-in to backup your Outlook data on a regular basis ()


Back up your documents and other AAOutlook settings, the files/folders you will need to back up are:

  • C:\Program Files\AAOutlook\Word Templates - Your merge docs
  • C:\Program Files\AAOutlook\goals.mdb - If you set your goals before.
  • C:\Program Files\AAOutlook\REMS2.mdb - My Merge Data
