Active Agent for Outlook.
“Respond is a non flexible system that takes
over your whole outlook There are less customizable
fields and I find it to be less friendly in a network
environment. Also, it does not seem to be as intuitive
as Active Agent. There are nowhere near as many custom
fields such as pictures, home pictures, family fields,
calendaring fields, etc. It does not have a sophisticated
property section as well. Can't compare the products
in my opinion.”

Hi - I wanted to share this new software program
I've been using. After 16 years with Top Producer,
and after becoming extremely frustrated with the poor
email functionality of 7i, I started exploring other
options. I tried Pat Zaby's "Respond" program,
which is an Outlook add-on, and it was very limited
in scope and didn't offer the checklists that I depended
on Top Producer for. I finally found Active Agent
for Outlook in the search engines; it does not seem
to be supported by the regular Realtor channels but
what a great program. It enhances the contact record
features of Outlook and offers the ability to create
campaigns which serve as listing and closing checklists,
and the support is great and included hands-on help
right at my desktop using Go to Meeting. I'm so much
happier being able to use some of Outlook's more advanced
features like Task Assignment to assign tasks to my
assistant and then track their completion, and of
course the email functionality is much better.
